With creative director and master colorist Brenda Dimon at the helm, the passionate team of professionals offer something different than other salons. “Our culture is truly not the norm in the industry, offering an open chair policy,” explains Brenda. “We welcome you to see any service provider you wish, even if you currently see another within the company, and we like to pair guests with our stylists based on their particular area of focus, such as curly hair, gray transition, blonding, gray coverage, or a complete change!”

For skincare needs, lead esthetician Lindsay List brings an extensive background in a range of services, from waxing to brow shaping and henna. “My passion is educating clients about their skin and how to enhance their natural beauty,” says Lindsay, who works one-on-one with each client to create a skincare plan and regiment to address and improve specific target areas. She also has advanced training in menopausal skin, mature skin, and adolescent acne, addressing the full scope of a wear that age can take on a person’s face during a lifetime.

Continuing education is key when it comes to the staff at Aqua Salon and Spa, too. Prior to opening her own business, Brenda spent 14 years traveling the country for a European company teaching hair coloring techniques. Her experience as an instructor for a training academy saw her training professionals in a range of advanced practices, from corrective color to color placement.

Today, through her apprenticeship program, Brenda teaches next-level skills that help make stylists successful, and charts their course for a career in the industry. Each staff member receives rigorous training and progresses through different levels of growth along the way. Ensuring the optimal experience for each guest, the team upholds a collaborative approach and lets clients choose a stylist to best accommodate their scheduling and budget requirements, with a range of pricing options.

“We are a full-service salon and spa,” explains Lindsay. “Having a facial service is a relaxing experience, which means we are hands-on for the duration. Not only do we take great care of your skin, but also focus on relaxation and body work.” For instance, during a 90-minute facial, the service provider also administers a massage from shoulders to fingers, knees to toes – all tailored to each customer’s needs and comfort levels. This way each guest leaves both looking and feeling refreshed.

Aqua’s range of hair services includes cut, color, styling, and texturing, with options for all preferences, and among their spa services, clients can choose from skin, nail, massage, waxing, and brow treatments. Soon, Lindsay will also be adding microblading to the menu of offerings. Guests often rave about the comfortable energy and collaborative atmosphere among providers. Brenda emphasizes, “As the owners of this space, it’s important to us that everyone who enters enjoys the Aqua experience.”
