Ok, so tell us about what makes you eligible. What are your interests/hobbies/quirks? What would people be surprised to know about you?
I am eligible because I am single and looking lol. Since my recent apartment move one of my newfound interests has been DIY projects. Mixing and matching colors, textures, and patterns, throughout my apartment has been trial and error, but a lot of fun. I also enjoy checking out art galleries and writing for my hair blog, The Hair Daily. People are usually surprised that I am super shy, but once I’m in my comfort zone I can be the center of conversation. I usually have to toss my shyness out the window working Front of House during Style Week.

What are you looking for in an ideal mate? What about an ideal first date?
I am one busy woman. My ideal mate would be someone who I can find peace in. Great conversations is a must! We don’t always have to agree, but we need to be able to converse about social issues, our dreams, or music. My ideal mate would inspire me to be a better me, as well as call me out on my stuff. Our relationship would be built off a strong friendship. My ideal first date would have to involve food, because I love to cook and eat. I think a cooking class would be nice. I think a date while you’re doing something is perfect because it takes the pressure off and conversations come easier.

What's your perfect weekend? Where can we find you in your downtime?
Ideally, my weekend would be anywhere with warm weather with my special someone. It would be a mix of fun activities such as horseback riding, archery, or snorkeling and our relaxed moments watching the sunset, sight seeing, or having a picnic. During my downtime you can find me at home either alone, or with close friends and family…and a bottle of wine, of course. If I’m alone I usually have candles lit, and simply enjoy watching movies, writing, and creating. If I have guests it’s usually food, laughter, and possibly an intense game of taboo.

Let's talk about dating in Providence. What's your take on the singles scene here?
The single scene is Providence can vary depending on your circle of friends. I am not sure if it’s just the singles in Providence, or in general but the concept of dating and chivalry seems to be fading a bit. I am still a bit traditional. I enjoy being picked up, going a nice date, opening doors… the simple things.

Every single one of your married friends has probably recommended online dating. Have you tried it? How do you feel about matchmaking sites? Tinder?
Matchmaking sites are great depending on what you’re looking for. In my opinion attempting to meet someone online is a toss up. You may meet “your match” and they may look 20 lbs heavier than their profile picture or they may have described themselves far more interesting than what they really are. I say make an account with no expectations lol

Do you have any really funny dating stories?
I don’t have any really funny stories, but definitely some moments where I was wondering when the hidden cameras were going to appear.

Anything else you'd like people to know?
I love a good laugh. I am very competitive (even with a game like Memory) and I like to have a good time.
