Track 15 Brings Free Summer Concert Nights to Downtown Providence

A new Friday series pairs live local music, art, and food hall favorites for an easygoing night out all season long

As the workweek winds down in downtown Providence, a new kind of Friday night is taking shape at Track 15. Starting May 22, the food hall will host a free weekly Summer Concert Series that turns its plaza into a gathering place for music, art, and a steady stream of local creativity.

Running every Friday at 6:30pm through October 2, the series brings 20 weeks of live performances from Rhode Island musicians, along with rotating art and interactive programming. The goal is simple: create a place where people can show up, settle in, and stay awhile.

“We’re excited to introduce a summer event series that feels distinctly local and gives people another reason to come back to Track 15 week after week,” says owner Christopher Marsella. “Providence has an incredible community of local musicians, and we want Track 15 to be a place where that talent has a home.”

The lineup leans into that local focus, with early performances from artists like Julie Rhodes & The Electric, The Grace Darko Quartet, and The Wolff Sisters. Beyond the stage, the series expands to include visual art, hands-on creative programming, and pop-up experiences that may range from painting and poetry to crafts and pottery.

Guests can build their own version of the evening. Grab dinner from one of the hall’s Rhode Island-based vendors, find a spot on the lawn, and let the night unfold. On concert evenings, a dedicated rosé and bubbles bar featuring selections from Santa Margherita Wines adds a seasonal touch, with frosé likely to become a crowd favorite.

Select dates will align with Basin WaterFire nights and Rhode Island Night Market activations, extending the energy beyond the plaza and into the surrounding downtown. Admission is free, and the invitation is open. For schedules, updates, and more information, visit track15ri.com.
