On Friday, November 22nd at 7pm, Sojourner House will host its 14th Annual Masquerade Ball inside the grand ballroom at the Graduate Providence.
This year, guests are invited to dance through the Enchanted Forest, a place where seeds of hope are planted and beauty blooms out of darkness. For one magical night, this fairytale realm will open to those who stand against violence and sparkle with music, laughter, and whimsical entertainment.
Here, amid moss covered tablescapes and twinkling lights, fairies (and their friends) will sip shimmering cocktails, enjoy delectable hor d'oeuvres, find treasures at the silent auction, and revel in performances from Toys 2 Men, DJ Dayglow, Extraordinary Rendition Band (ERB), and more.
During the ball, Sojourner House will sponsor a woodland-themed dessert contest and challenge the city’s best bakeries to create the top voted confectionery masterpiece. And of course, once the “celebrity” judges cast their votes, guests will be invited to sample and savor the entries!
Funds raised from this enchanted and elegant evening will help Sojourner House continue to provide vital aid to survivors of abuse in our community, so call up your pals and join in on the fun!
