Scoop Fest 2026 Brings Sweet Beats to Providence

Wright’s Creamery turns Farm Fresh RI into a flavor-filled, music-forward afternoon this May

Posted

The first hint of summer arrives not with the weather, but with a spoonful of something cold, creative, and just a little nostalgic. This May, Wright’s Creamery invites Rhode Islanders to lean into that feeling with Scoop Fest 2026, a lively afternoon where music and ice cream meet under one roof.

Set for Saturday, May 30, from 2 to 6 p.m. inside the Farm Fresh Rhode Island building on Sims Avenue, the festival transforms a simple scoop into a full sensory experience. Guests can sample 12 limited-edition flavors, each inspired by iconic songs and artists. Think playful creations like Mint-allica, Smokey Mountain S’mores, and Drop It Like It’s Hot Fudge, a collaboration with Rhed’s Hot Sauce. Each bite taps into a shared cultural memory, blending music history with Wright’s signature small-batch craft.

For $15, attendees receive tasting access to the entire lineup, while members of the beloved Test Batch Club are treated to a complimentary ticket. It’s a nod to the loyal community that fuels the creamery’s most imaginative ideas.

The energy extends well beyond the cone. Live performances from local acts keep the rhythm going all afternoon, including the high-impact Providence Drum Troupe, along with sets from Johnny Blackout and Jesse Desorcy. Guiding the festivities is Ashley Erling of WPRI 12 and The Rhode Show, bringing a familiar voice to the stage.

Between sets, the festival leans into easy summer indulgence. Guests can sip something chilled, grab a savory bite, and wander between flavors without missing a beat, whether that means a quick snack or settling in to soak up the scene. Tickets are available for purchase online. For more information on Wright’s Creamery, visit wrightsri.com.
