What makes it a Rhody Gem?

The Camera Werks is one of the last independently owned camera shops in Rhode Island. ​Founded in 1987, Patricia Zacks specializes in personalized service and all things photographic. In addition to offering quality film developing, video transfers, on-site custom framing, and a selection of ready-made photo frames, peruse unique greeting cards and even photo albums. Analog enthusiasts, this is the place for used vintage photo equipment, camera accessories, instant films, 35mm/120mm B&W/Color film, minor camera service, digital batteries, and chargers. In the photo community, Zacks is a longtime partner with The City of Pawtucket Photo Contest, where 12 winning photos will be placed in that city’s 2027 calendar. All photo submissions should follow the contest theme of “Pawtucket on the Move,” and must be taken in the city of Pawtucket within the past year.
