Mermaids are returning to Mystic!
Dates: Thursday, September 21 – Sunday, September 24 & Thursday, September 28 – Sunday, October 1
Encounter an aquatic wonder like never before – mermaids are coming to Mystic Aquarium! Seeing a real mermaid can be a dream come true for many children (and adults)! For two long weekends at the end of September, discover the magic of mermaids as they swirl through the waters of our Caribbean Reef habitat.
We encourage all our visitors to embrace the underwater adventure and dress in your favorite aquatic-themed costume – from mermaids to pirates to sea animals and anything else you can dream up. The brighter the better – bright colors will draw the attention of the diving mermaids for a more interactive experience.
During their visit, mermaids will be diving throughout the day for all Aquarium guests to enjoy.
We’re also thrilled to offer an optional VIP Meet & Greet experience with the mermaids on dry land. Your whole family can chat with one of the mermaids and will receive a keepsake photograph to commemorate the special moment. Tickets for this VIP experience are available onsite for $10.00 and include the Meet & Greet session and one photograph.
