This landmark is perhaps the town’s most famous icon, standing guard over the Town Beach. It’s alive with activity all season long, including dancing, music and food events, and is home to the Chamber of Commerce’s visitor’s center.

Point Judith Lighthouse

In a state full of historic lighthouses, this is one of the most well-known. The original wooden lighthouse was destroyed in a hurricane, but the current one, erected in 1857, remains active and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

This mid-18th century homestead is located in Saunderstown, a village that straddles both Narragansett and North Kingstown. It is now an essential part of Narragansett’s agricultural landscape, housing an organic, community-supported garden, farm animals, and one of the area’s largest farmer’s markets – the Coastal Growers Market, which happens on Saturday mornings throughout the season.
