Imago Foundation for the Arts (IFA) is continuing the celebration of its 20th year with an invitational exhibit featuring the work the artwork of IFA exhibiting artists, a guest artist Arianne Del Rios and 14 other invited artists.

The exhibit, which features a wide array of media, styles and subject matter from across Rhode Island, will be on display August 31 – October 8 at Imago Gallery, 36 Market Street, in Warren, RI. A free, public reception for the artists will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 2.

Featured guest artist Arianne Del Rios is known for her detailed miniature watercolor and acrylic paintings. Her connection with nature fuels her photography and becomes the foundation for her watercolor and acrylic paintings. In addition, Del Rios meticulously digitizes her paintings at a high resolution and prepares limited edition giclee prints.

Del Rios’ artistic journey began in her childhood when, as a pediatric brain tumor survivor, she learned to express herself through art and ultimately overcame her physical challenges. Her exploration into digital art began in high school and continued throughout college where she majored in graphic design and digital media at the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth. Since graduation, she has worked as a full-time graphic designer, in addition to creating her art.

Other invited guest artists include Maria Abregu, Jim Cain, Deborah Forman, Vera Gierke, Nicholas Jainschigg, Carolyn Letvin, Jennifer Martinelli Rybicki, Arlene McGonagle, Chil Mott, Elizabeth O’Connell, John Rapczak, Pamela Stanton, Corey Windham and Sarah Windham.

Participating IFA artists include Sally Barker, Eileen Siobhan Collins, Mary Dondero, Stephen Fisher, Philip Gruppuso, Gary Heise, Carl Keitner, Eileen Mayhew, Linda Megathlin, Rina Naik, Mercedes Nuñez, Anne Marie Rossi, Howard Rotblat-Walker, Lenny Rumpler, Howard Windham and Meredith Wolf.

IFA’s 20th anniversary celebration will continue after this exhibit with an exhibit featuring IFA artist Lenny Rumpler and guest artist Kathleen Weber, followed by an end-of-year exhibit featuring over 40 current and former IFA exhibiting artists that will be on display November 24 through December 24.
