Imago Gallery’s “Big Show” offers an exciting array of artworks by community artists January 13 – 28

Imago Foundation for the Arts (IFA) invites the public to an artist reception for its 2023 Open Community Exhibit, called “The Big Show,” on Saturday, January 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Imago Gallery, 36 Market Street, Warren. The reception includes a musical accompaniment by Rhode Island guitarist John Birt.

The salon-style exhibit that will be on display from January 13-28 features more than 180 artworks including two-dimensional artworks across a wide array of media including photography, painting, drawing and mixed media as well as stone and mixed-media sculptural artwork, ceramics and textiles, reflecting the talent and diversity of the greater East Bay and southern New England art community. Artworks in the exhibit will also be displayed and for sale on IFA’s website at https://www.imagofoundation4art.org/shop.

Gallery hours are Thursdays 12 – 3 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 12 – 6 p.m. and Sundays 12 – 4 p.m. January 13 – 28.

IFA’s mission is to inspire creativity and promote art-making that enriches our communities by providing a supportive community and exhibition space for artists of all kinds. IFA also focuses on art programming for the public and collaborative projects with other local and regional organizations to promote Rhode Island and the East Bay as an arts destination.
