Torch Lighting Ceremony, Live Music, Food Trucks, Fireworks + More!
The coveted Illuminations of Life Ceremony hosted by the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, returns to the Rhode Island State House this October. This inspiring event remembers those lost to cancer, honors those who have fought and survived, and pays tribute to the metavivors who continue to fight. This special-edition ceremony features performances by The State Ballet of Rhode Island, storytelling, 150-person torch ceremony and the lighting of the state house in pink. The torch ceremony will be held at 7pm on the steps of the Rhode Island State House.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the family-friendly celebration moves to Station Park for live music, dancing and food trucks. The evening's grande finale will feature our iconic fireworks display (produced by Pyrotecnico) from the state house roof at 9:45PM.
The evening will include two ticketed events in Station Park; the always lively Pink Party featuring food, dancing and a live band and the Taste of Hope Food and Wine Event featuring bites from local restaurants and wine pairings. Tickets are limited and we strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance as these events will sell out. Tickets to the Pink Party are $40 per person and include an open buffet, dessert + dancing 8PM-midnight.
Tickets to the Taste of Hope Food and Wine Event are $30 per person and include food, wine + beer tastings with unlimited tastings (21+ event only) from 8PM-10:30PM. Combo tickets to both the Pink Party + Taste of Hope are available for $65 per person ($5 savings)
