SKLT Car Show

Posted by SKLandTrust

Visit the South Kingstown Land Trust Barn to see an array of earlier cars and vintage vehicles from the 1920’s to the 1980’s. Enthusiasts from around New England are invited to share and admire autos from ages past. This fun event will also feature an original 1874 Aberdeen hand pump fire truck, a 1911 Indian motorcycle, a peddle bicycle from 1891, a hand-built Conestoga Wagon reproduction, and a vintage fire engine! Bring the family and enjoy live music by Saddle Up the Chicken, grab a hotdog and some Brickley’s ice cream, enjoy a chance in the 50/50 raffle, visit Joyce’s Jungle for hands-on youth animal education, and savor the beautiful scenery at SKLT’s Weeden Farm.

The 2019 SKLT Car Show will honor the memory of Bob and Diane Smith, whose legacy includes operating the Samuel E. Perry Grist Mill and donating it to SKLT, serving countless jonnycakes, and organizing fabulous past car shows. The tradition continues!

Admission to the show is $5 per person, $15 maximum per family. Registration for cars and vehicles is $15.

Many thanks to the SKLT Car Show sponsors: Navigant Credit Union, Robert Kisilywicz, Bill Wright, and Brickley’s Ice Cream.
