Public Input Session – RIPTA Providence Transit Center

Posted by chloekesssler

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) is currently exploring options to develop a new, modernized public transit center in Providence.

On Monday, May 13, RIPTA and Next Wave Rhode Island Partners are hosting a public engagement session at the Amica Mutual Pavilion from 4-7pm, where transit riders and community members from across the state will have an opportunity to learn about RIPTA’s objectives when it comes to a new transit center and provide their opinions and feedback regarding this important project.

Monday’s interactive event will be the first in a series of in-person and virtual public input sessions RIPTA and Next Wave Rhode Island Partners are planning throughout the spring and summer. The event is free to attend; refreshments will be provided; and Spanish, Portuguese and American Sign Language translators will be on-site to provide support as necessary.
