Dr. Maia Bailey of Providence College will discuss questions such as: Why do plants make medicines for people? How do herbal remedies differ from standard medicines? What do I need to do to take herbal medications responsibly? And many more with an evolutionary perspective on herbal medicine.
This event is free with admission to the Botanical Center. The lecture will be held in the Botanical Center's Blockhouse Classroom. Seating is limited, so please email Lesley at llambert@providenceri.gov if you plan to attend.
