Gelatin Monoprinting is a popular technique used to create art for use in collages, art journals, and as backgrounds for paintings and drawings. Art instructor Patty Martucci will demonstrate how to use a Gelli Plate with acrylic paints, brayers, stencils, items found in nature (leaves/flowers), and cut paper to create these colorful and appealing pages. Students will explore new techniques each week.
Beginners as well as more experienced artists are encouraged to register! This is a great opportunity for participants to "play" with new materials and processes. All materials will be provided, but students can also bring their own stencils and small, flat objects from nature if they wish.
Cost: $80. non-members/$65. WCFA members
Schedule: 4 classes once a week on a Wednesday from 10/25-11/15
