About Explorations in Art
As part of our 140th Year Celebration, the Providence Art Club presents a special Sunday afternoon series for children (ages 5-12) and their families to explore our historic buildings, tour the galleries, and engage in interactive workshops featuring the following: collage, pastel, glass, printmaking, sculpture and more. These workshops are available to both members and non-members.
About The Natural World
Students will be introduced to the Art Club, including various galleries where artists have depicted the natural world. They will discover how artists have been inspired by nature to create personal visual reflections. After choosing an image in the galleries, students will interpret these using collage materials.
