Becky Hutton, a blonde and extension specialist of BLONDE HAIR STUDIO, embarked on her entrepreneurial journey upon graduating from the Chariho Cosmetology program in 2002. While pursuing her college business degree, she managed a salon and spa, eventually acquiring her own building within four years. Over the course of a decade, Becky expanded her business to include two salons with a staff of 13. Becky has mentored many stylists throughout the years who have then successfully opened their own salons and spas.
In 2014 Becky sold her business and moved to Hawaii. Upon returning home five years later, she reopened a salon and won Best of Rhode Island within her first year open two years in a row.
Becky’s dedication to her cosmetology career and expertise in blonding and extensions has garnered attention from clients across New England. She has earned many accolades, such as Best of Rhode Island, Leading Ladies, Discover Rhode Island, and the SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year for both Rhode Island and New England.
With 22 years of industry experience, Becky has become a renowned figure in the hair industry. From large spas to boutique hair studios, she has consistently delivered exceptional haircare services, earning five-star ratings on all platforms and most recently featured in Modern Salon.
Specializing in blonding throughout her career, Becky remains committed to honing her skills by attending hair shows and specialized courses nationwide. In October 2023, she built and opened her seventh salon in Westerly where she exclusively focuses on blonding and hair extensions.
