For those who enjoy both innovative dining and engaging games, Level99 and Night Shift Kitchen and Tap is for you – video game-style worlds meet social IRL problem solving with friends in each delightfully designed room. Spanning 40,000 square feet, Level99 features 43 challenge rooms that cater to gamers of all skill levels, and vibrant local art all around. Since its January launch, the venue has evolved into more than just a gaming center; it's a holistic playground crafted by the forward-thinking Matthew DuPlessie, drawing from his educational background at MIT and Harvard Business School.

Once you’ve built up an appetite from conquering mental and physical challenges, Level99 invites guests on their next adventure: a culinary one.  Night Shift Kitchen & Tap is a farm-to-table eatery dedicated to crafting every dish from scratch, led by executive chef Tom Sadler and food and beverage VP Ryan Shocklee, both seasoned industry experts.

At the core of Level99 and Night Shift Kitchen & Tap is their commitment to scratch-made dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Their meticulously curated menu features signature items like the Whipped Feta, served on hand-cut purple sweet potato chips, and Detroit Style Pizza. "We never cook our sauce until we cook the garlic, the herbs, the aromatics… It's all about keeping it fresh and sweet," explains Sadler, emphasizing the attention to detail in each dish. This commitment extends beyond their full-service and walk-up offerings, aiming to consistently surprise and delight patrons.

Sadler takes snacking to the next level with everything from the rich Brown Butter-Three Cheese Popcorn to their House Burger with sharp white cheddar cheese, caramelized onion, brown butter aioli, and shredded lettuce on a toasted brioche bun, all meticulously crafted to complement the gaming experience. The team infuses fun in every element of menu development, down to the perfectly crisp pepperoni and dressings made with fresh herbs.

Drinks are crafted with the same amount of creativity and care. Shocklee characterizes the cocktail menu as "40 percent twist, 40 percent modern, and 20 percent adventurous experimentation." Their commitment to crafting unique and cocktails is exemplified by the Ancho Business, a popular margarita infused with spiced hibiscus and Ancho chilies. They also curate a selection of wines, and their beer offerings  showcase local craft breweries.

Ever evolving to meet guests’ changing tastes, Level99 and Night Shift Kitchen & Tap have plans to introduce mobile food carts and other innovative concepts, deepening their connection with the local community and its culinary preferences. Additional information is available online at Level99.com.
