“Fishing from Afar” Will Raise Funds for Meeting Street & The Schwartz School
June 13th - August 15th
What: Meeting Street’s Fishing for a Cause Tournament – one of the organization’s largest fundraisers of the year – returns to local waters in a new way amid COVID-19 concerns. On June 13th the new “Fishing from Afar” will launch, inviting anglers to cast their lines to raise funds for The Schwartz School and Meeting Street’s programs that provide vital educational and developmental services to children with special needs, and their families, across Southeastern Massachusetts.
The DIY-format encourages anglers to create their own tournament with family and friends using Meeting Street’s easy-to-use crowd-funding platform justgiving.com/campaign/FFA. Just a few clicks and your competition for the biggest fish – and the biggest donation to Meeting Street – is on! Your friends, your rules, go fish!
