Providence Pizza Week’s Return offers a Pie for Every Palate

Providence is abuzz with the return of Providence Pizza Week, now in its third year. From April 14-20, this week-long celebration, organized by the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau (PWCVB), showcases nearly 40 local pizza joints and their unique culinary creations, from classic pies to more inventive concoctions.

Kristen Adamo, president and CEO of the PWCVB, expresses her excitement about the event, stating, "Pizza Week is the perfect excuse to visit your favorite local pizza shop or try something a little different. Rhode Island is known for its pizza, and this event is our way of celebrating it. Whether you're a pizza traditionalist or prefer your pie on the wild side, Pizza Week offers something for everyone."

Providence Pizza Week is more than just a feast for the senses; it also includes a competitive element. Food enthusiasts can vote for their favorites in three categories: Most Delicious, Most Creative, and Most Instagrammable. Francesco's Pizzeria, the reigning champion, has claimed all three titles for two consecutive years, setting a high bar for this year's contenders. Will they secure the coveted triple crown once again, or will a new pizza maestro rise to the occasion?

The celebration of crust, sauce, and cheese extends beyond mere bragging rights for the best slice in town.
