Christmas Shopping Stroll:
An island tradition for 25 years, this shopping weekend includes year-end bargains at many retailers.

December 31

New Year’s Eve Bonfire:
Reflect on the past year and look ahead to 2015 with a family-friendly tradition. Ninigret Park, 4:30-7pm.

East Greenwich
November 29

Annual 5K Turkey Trot:
Take a scenic run through historic East Greenwich, with a 1 mile Fun Run, crafts and entertainment.

December 13
The Jersey Four Holiday Show: Enjoy the sounds of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons at this holiday tribute show. The Greenwich Odeum, 8pm.

Month of December

An Island Christmas:
Celebrate the holidays all month long with activities like a pet parade and Santa arriving by boat.

December 6
Santa arrives by boat and Christmas tree lighting at East Ferry. Holiday Stroll in downtown Jamestown.

December 13
Holiday Arts Market: Get some holiday shopping done as you browse the works of some fabulous local artists. Jamestown Arts Center, 10am-4pm.

44th Annual Holiday Sale:
Peruse a variety of South County Art Association members works.

December 7

Festival of Lights:
A tree lighting and fireworks helps Narragansett gets a lot brighter fore the season. 10am-7pm.

North Kingstown
December 6-7

Christmas at the Castle:
Celebrate the holidays in grand style with carols and baked goods. Smith’s Castle, 12-4pm.

Peace Dale
December 6

Holiday Fair: Shop over 60 local vendors including jewelry, edibles and holiday crafts. Peace Dale Elementary School, 10am-4pm.

South Kingstown
December 5-21
Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge: Enjoy a unique twist on A Christmas Carol. Contemporary Theatre Company, performances require tickets.

November 8
Holiday Craft Fair: Get your craft on this local artisan showcase. South Kingstown Elks Lodge, 10am-4pm.

December 3
18th Annual Holiday Stroll and Luminaria: Downtown Westerly lights up in holiday cheer, with luminaries lining the sidewalks, hayrides with Santa and strolling carolers. 5-9pm.

December 21
Christmas Pops: Enjoy the sounds of the season at the Chorus of Westerly’s annual holiday concert. Tickets required for the 4pm and 6pm performances.

December 4-7
29th Annual Festival of Lights:
A four-day celebration that includes visits by Santa, an elf parade and musical entertainment.
