Food enthusiasts won’t want to miss a single bite of the inaugural Providence Culinary Collective, a gastronomic extravaganza taking place March 27-30. The event will showcase the talents of celebrated chefs, innovative food artisans, and top-tier wine experts. Organized by the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau (PWCVB), this multi-day festival promises an immersive dive into Providence’s rich culinary culture.
“We have spent years building Providence’s reputation as a culinary destination, and this festival represents the culmination of that journey,” says Kristen Adamo, president and CEO of the PWCVB. “This event celebrates our city’s flavor, talent, and creativity.”
The festival’s lineup, packed with flavor and flair, is a foodie’s dream. Guests can enjoy exclusive chef dinners pairing nationally recognized culinary stars with local talent in top restaurants, with proceeds supporting local causes. For those seeking variety, the Taste Community Made marketplace will offer small bites crafted by food incubator Hope & Main’s diverse food entrepreneurs, accompanied by live music from local musicians.
For hands-on experiences, Chef’s Choice classes invite attendees to learn from the masters at Johnson & Wales University, Providence’s own globally renowned culinary powerhouse. A curated food truck festival spotlights the best of Rhode Island’s mobile cuisine, and wine enthusiasts can savor impeccable pairings at the Grand Tasting and Vintners Dinner, where sommeliers and chefs collaborate in an unforgettable culinary duet.
Adding star power to the festivities, PBS icon Mary Ann Esposito of Ciao Italia will make a special appearance at Uncorking the Future, a fundraising event that blends wine and philanthropy. For the latest updates, visit GoPvdEats.com.
