Energy Efficiency Unraveled: Analyzing Participation in RI’s Incentive Programs

Energy efficiency programs are often free or low cost, reduce energy bills over time and can increase comfort in our homes. Additionally, ratepayers are collectively paying for these programs through their electricity bills. Why do some consumers decide against participating in energy efficiency and how can programs be designed to provide equitable access to all ratepayers? In this lecture, you will hear from experts in market research, behavioral science and health equity to understand the relationship between consumer behavior and the effectiveness of our energy efficiency programs.
