October 12: Save the date for The Dragon Ball at Providence Biltmore. The Providence Children’s Museum’s annual gala will feature a festive fete of cocktails, dinner, live music, and dancing. 

October 12: Stop by Pawtuxet Village for some (witches’) brew just in time for Halloween at the Beervana Festival. Meet local brewers, learn about how they make their award-winning beers, and sample from a selection of 250-plus cold ones. Cheers! 

October 12-13: AS220 hosts the third annual Providence Y2K18 International Loop Festival, bringing an eclectic lineup of performers from RI and beyond in a two-day celebration of experimental, loop-driven music. 

October 13: It might not be ski season yet, but head over to Yawgoo Valley Ski Area to celebrate the cooler season with the Exeter Fall Festival. October 14: Smith’s Castle celebrates the historic former plantation’s history as a dairy farm during the "Dairy Days" Harvest Festival, featuring games, music, apple crisp, and more. 

October 13-14: It wouldn’t be Rhode Island without seafood. At Bowen’s Wharf’s 28th Annual Seafood Festival sample local seafood such as oysters, lobster rolls, fish tacos, clam cakes, and more much tasty eats. 

October 14: Coggeshall Farm welcomes the public to their newly-branded Harvest-to-Table Fair. Featuring artists and vendors from across the state, eighteenth century games and crafts, pony and hayrides, and plenty of food like the farm’s own johnnycakes. 

October 14: Grab your furry friend for a beautiful run at Slater Memorial Park for The Crate Escape 5k Fun Run 2018. The race entry fee goes directly to Save One Soul Animal Rescue League to help dogs find loving homes.
