The book club at Wingate Residences on the East Side will discuss “Between the World and Me” by Ta-Nehisi Coates on Monday, Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. Written as a series of letters to his son, Coates’ memoir helps readers understand what it means to be black in America.
The Wingate book club launched nine years ago and remains one of the community’s most popular programs. Since its inception, the club has read more than 100 books. The book club typically meets the fourth Monday of each month, excluding holidays, and is free and open to the public. Space is limited. For more information or to RSVP, call 401-275-0682.
