Now-September 30: The Pawtucket Arts Festival celebrates it 20th anniversary. Enjoy a creative and cultural display of dance, music, theatre, film, visual and folk-traditional arts that evoke the city's historic legacy and diverse communities.

September 27: Don’t miss the final Bristol-Warren Art Night of the season for local music, theater, dance, and, of course, lots of art. Come by foot, bike, car, or even trolley to support local artists. 

September 27: Get ready for all paws on deck at AQUA at the Providence Marriott. Play with puppies and eat hors d’oeuvres poolside during Pawz to Party, an event to benefit the Animal Rescue League Rhode Island. 

September 27: Take this as a sign. Head on over to the opening night reception of Art League of Rhode Island’s Parsing Sign and Image exhibition. In a post-tech world, this show focuses considers the power of text, letters, and signs. 

September 27: Catch him before it’s too late. Hal Ketchum, a country music legend and staple of the Curb Records roster for two almost decades, comes to Little Rhody for one night only at Courthouse Center for the Arts

September 27-29: Experience a night at the theatre with “Good Grief,” a play that explores healing, trauma, and social justice at the Granoff Center for the Creative Arts at Brown University. 

September 27-29: Have you heard of comedian Joel Kim Booster? If not, the comedy gods say you soon will. He’s performed on Conan, Comedy Central and has been listed as one of Variety’s “10 comics to watch” in 2018. Here’s your chance to see him live at the Comedy Connection

September 29: The Yankee Steam-Up is sure to get your engines going, as New England’s oldest engine show. Check out restored vintage steam engines, model engines, antique autos, and more at the New England Wireless & Steam Museum. 

September 29: What better way to spend a Saturday than learning about local history and basking in gorgeous views? Blithewold Mansion offers Saturday Strolls, guided tours of the mansion and Q+A sessions about the history of the Van Wickle/McKee family.

September 29-30: Norman Bird Sanctuary’s Harvest Fair offers a dose of nostalgia with old-fashioned autumn activities: barrel train, pony rides, mud pit, and burlap sack racing, not to mention a crafter’s tent, food vendors, and live bands.

September 30: Toasted Bun Hospitality, Inc. brings the three B’s with the Bristol Burger Bash: burgers, beer, and bluegrass. Sample sliders, taste local beer and wine, and listen to live music at this fundraising event for the preservation and restoration of Linden Place Mansion.
