February 14: If you’re a fan of dad jokes, you’ll be a fan of Jim Breuer, family man comedian who takes the mic at the Comedy Connection on V-Day. The Florida native was named one of Comedy Central’s “100 Greatest Stand Ups of All Time.” Feel free to bring the fam. 

February 15: The 5th Annual Black Tie and Blue Jeans Fundraiser for The Ocean State Waves returns to the Narragansett Towers for a festive night of fun. Enjoy live music by Take it the Bridge, tasty eats from local restaurants like Arturo Joe’s and The Breachway Grille, cocktails, a can’t-miss silent auction, and more!

February 15-17: Celebrate the 50th anniversary of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, presented by Providence College. It’s a fresh take on the 1967 classic, adding two new songs to the original list of favorites like “My Blanket and Me” and The Baseball Game.  

February 15-17: Festival Ballet presents Mirrors at The VETS, a mixed ballet program premiering Yury Yanowsky’s Smoke and Mirrors and George Balanchine’s Serenade choreography alongside Viktor Plotnikov’s Coma.

February 15-24: The Newport Winter Festival returns for its 31st year, heating up the City-By-The-Sea with over 150 events and festivities, including; the annual Chili Cook-Off, the Polar Pineapples Ice Bar at Gurney’s, The Winter Fest Stand-Up Comedy Show, Beach Polo, a Princess Party, and plenty of fun for all ages.  

February 15-28: Welcome the 10th Annual Providence Children’s Film Festival with screenings, field trips, workshops, and plenty of free activities dedicated to the world of independent and international children’s cinema.

February 16: Reserve your spot at Mt. Hope Farm’s Test Kitchen for a Valentine’s dinner, featuring a five-course meal. Highlights include pan-seared scallops and chocolate strawberry tart.

February 16-17: Raise a glass to winter during Newport Vineyards 23rd Annual WINEterfest Weekend. Enjoy two days full of grape stomping, wine tasting and beer tasting, plus an Ice Wine Bar, tasty eats, and live music.

February 16-17: Show your love for small business and local makers at the Shades of Vintage market at Cerulean in Warren, and enjoy browsing a multi-vendor marketplace with one-of-a-kind vintage pieces and a variety of handmade work by local artists.
