Join us for a talk and book signing by Joanne Lipman on her new bestselling book, That’s What She Said: What Men Need to Know (and Women Need to Tell Them) About Working Together.
Lipman contends that to achieve parity in the office, women don’t have to change -- men do -- and in this inclusive and realistic handbook, she offers solutions to help professionals solve gender gap issues and achieve parity at work. While companies with more women in senior leadership perform better by virtually every financial measure, and women employees help boost creativity and can temper risky behavior like the financial gambles behind the 2008 economic collapse, 95 percent of Fortune 500 chief executives in the United States are men, and women hold only seventeen percent of seats on corporate boards.
