Through the Red Door depicts an alternate reality which all too frequently reflects our own, mirroring the absurdity of our
current times. Filmed entirely in South County, the camera carries you through a realm of stunning locations, with twists and turns,
literally and figuratively. Characters are familiar yet surreal, some are actually Mad. Tea Parties become great again!
And, rules no longer apply.
The South County Filmmakers is a group of thoughtful, curious and creative people who have a passion for living and
a drive to express themselves through film on a wide array of topics. The club grew out of a class called “Let’s Make A Movie” given in 2013
at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Rhode Island. The South County Filmmakers is a RI non-profit organization that produces
movies from the ground up, beginning with a concept and ending with a premiere! Through the Red Door is the club’s fourth film.
