Rhode Island's Food Truck Revolution

Posted

Food trucks have become as quintessential to summer in Rhode Island as clam cakes and chowder. With new ones popping up all the time, each serving up inventive and fun cuisine, these rolling restaurants have captured our hearts and stomachs. There’s a truck for everything these days: gourmet burgers at Rocket Fine Street Food, Portuguese food from Portu-Galo, French cuisine from Plouf Plouf Gastronomie, wild game from Open Season. The list goes on and on (and you can find a comprehensive listing at FoodTrucksIn.com).

Wednesday and Friday are Food Truck Nights in Narragansett. Select Thursday nights, there are food trucks at Warwick City Hall and Providence City Hall. Every Sunday through the fall, find them at The Providence Flea in the morning, and The Hot Club in the afternoons.
