Posted by RWPZoo1

During the spring school vacation weeks 2020 celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day at Roger Williams Park Zoo. Join the Zoo in celebrating the importance of conservation and our environment on Wednesday, April 15 and/or Earth Day, April 22 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Rain dates are April 16 and April 23. The Zoo is highlighting conservation and animal care while also giving guests the opportunity to join the Zoo in engaging experiences that empower everyone to help conserve wildlife and wild places. Party for the Planet will include the opportunity to visit Faces of the Rainforest, and other exhibits highlighting the Zoo’s work conserving endangered species. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in animal encounters, hear music from popular children’s bands, meet environmental groups and engage in earth friendly crafts. Whether you are on vacation the week of April 12 or April 19 there is always something to do at the Zoo. Don’t forget to check out the Explore and Soar area, offering Soaring Eagle Zip Ride, Virtual Reality Experience and train rides as well as Carousel Village. For more information visit rwpzoo.org.
