Sine Nomine choral ensemble continues celebrating its 25th anniversary season in February with Music of the German Baroque. The choir will be joined by a Baroque band led by Laura Gulley, assisted by Catherine Hawkes, recorder, and Heidi Dion and Lisa Babbitt, sopranos. In the words of founding director Glenn Giuttari, the concert will feature “some flashy chamber music of Telemann, Schütz's fabulous and introspective Selig sind, and Bach’s Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring and the motet Lobet den Herrn” as well as solo works by the guest artists.
Sine Nomine is an auditioned chamber choir dedicated to performing early music within diverse and innovative concert programs designed to share a passion for choral music with a wide audience. Refreshments will follow each performance.
$20 General Admission / $15 seniors & students with ID.
