Inspired by the Seasons
Nestled at the foot of historic College Hill in Providence, Mill’s Tavern has provided guests near and far with an award-winning fine dining experience for 14 years. The Providence original is a unique blend of informal and upscale, with a friendly and approachable staff that provides an impeccable dining experience.

A true taste of the seasons is on display here, with a seasonal menu that features local ingredients harvested from area farms and from Mills Tavern’s own garden. Executive Chef Edward Bolus delivers an impressive variety of farm-to-table American cuisine, perfecting robust flavors on the  restaurant’s wood-burning grill and stone oven. Chops and steaks are butchered in house daily and  prepared masterfully yet simply. Locally-sourced seafood is always fresh and presented in creative ways. Special wine and beer dinners are frequently offered, pairing new tastes for a uniquely interactive experience.

Rustic Environment, Modern Vibe

Located in the centuries-old Pilgrim Mill’s building, the Mill’s Tavern dining room has exposed brick walls, polished dark woods, vaulted casement ceilings and linen tablecloths that work together to evoke a sophisticated yet cozy ambiance in an 17th century rustic setting. In the old tradition of American taverns, the restaurant is meant to be a gathering place where friends and family can connect through genuine conversations and hand-crafted meals. The open kitchen, bustling with busy chefs, gives the restaurant an energetic vibe that’s positively contagious. The sleekly designed bar features a large selection of creative cocktails and craft beers. The incredible wine list has been awarded Wine Spectator’s famed Award of Excellence three years in a row. A small function room, which can accommodate up to 20 people, creates intimate events for any personal or business occasion. A visit to Mill’s Tavern, be it a glass of wine at the bar or a multi-course dinner, is sure to be remarkable.

Happy Hour:  Mill’s Tavern has dollar raw bar specials from 5pm-8pm Monday-Saturday and 4pm-7pm Sunday that features oysters, littlenecks and shrimp cocktail.
