Bringing Providence’s whole mish-mash, freewheeling, anything goes attitude towards art and music to a zany, logical endpoint is the Zoetical Music & Arts Festival. Curated by Arc Iris his month long celebration of everything great and weird about the music scene in Providence kicks off at Aurora on April 3 at 8pm and will feature Penn Sultan, The ‘Mericans, Arc Iris and the BIG NAZO Intergalactic Creature Band.
Arc Iris and BIG NAZO will be the festival’s constants throughout the month and the sounds of folk, spaced out who-knows-what and art rock collide into, in the words of the festivals organizers, a big fat space rainbow.
