September 18 - 6:00 p.m. -- Enjoy the company of history enthusiasts at the 188thBirthday fundraising buffet honoring Governor William Sprague IV -- hosted by the Cranston Historical Society. Guests will be awed by some of the fascinating objects on display from the Sprague family collection. While you are here, view the first Cranston Discovery Network signage dedicated last spring by the City of Cranston, describing the history of the neighborhood (located inside fenced grounds ~ corner of Cranston Street & Dyer Ave).
