Wingate Residences on Blackstone Boulevard and the Alzheimer’s Association are teaming up to host the four-part education series “Getting Started” on April 11, 18, 25 and May 2 at Wingate Residences on Blackstone Boulevard. Each session will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Family members, caregivers and friends of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or a related memory disorder are invited to learn more about the disease in this four-part series. The sessions are:
• Part 1: Basics of Alzheimer’s: Memory loss, dementia and Alzheimers (April 11)
• Part 2: Understanding and Responding to Dementia Related Behaviors (April 18)
• Part 3: Caregiver Wellness Program (April 25)
• Part 4: Legal and Financial Considerations of Alzheimer’s Disease (May 2)
