Now-Nov 11: Savor the dining scene in The City by the Sea with Newport Restaurant Week and enjoy deliciously affordable pre-fixe menus at participating restaurants throughout Newport and Bristol Counties.

Now - Dec. 30: Get a great start to the most festive time of year by catching the opening weekend of the timeless holiday classic, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, performing at Trinity Rep. 

November 9: Get ready to feel festive at the Harvest Time Fair at Winslow Gardens and Linn Health & Rehabilitation. Benefiting the Aldersbridge Communities, this event will feature colorful indoor shopping, silent auction, bake and ice cream shop, White Elephant table, raffles, tarot card reader, and much more. 

November 9-11: Find the finest in American-made, handcrafted furniture and accessories at the 2018 Fine Furnishings Show at Waterfire Arts Center. Featured exhibitors include Susan Troy Cloth, Owl Furniture, Shepherd Custom Woodworking, and NR Designs.

November 10: Don’t miss the last WaterFire of the season, a Salute to Veterans. This full lighting honors veterans, active and reserve military members, and their families for their service. 

November 10: Two top-notch comedians take the mic at Greenwich Odeum for An Evening of Laughter with Lenny Clarke, and special guest Christine Hurley. Clarke is a sitcom star known for his role in Rescue Me, plus appearances in There’s Something About Mary and Me, Myself & Irene. 

November 10: Providence-based blues rockers The Silks return to Pump House Music Works in Peacedale for a night of foot-stomping rock and roll. Don’t miss one of the state’s best acts at one of its most magical venues. 

November 10: The Aquidneck Indian Council invites all to Sandywoods for their Fall Potluck, a social gathering with lunch and dancing in Tiverton. Guests are asked to bring something to share, whether it be a casserole or cookies, and immerse themselves in an appreciation of Native music and culture. 

November 10: The RWU Dance Theatre Freshman Company Basement Series features choreography by students, faculty, and this month, guest artists Katie McNamara and Olase Freeman, co-directors of BaldSoul modern dance company.

November 11: Young The Giant will delight fans at The Strand, along with special guest Lights, with their alternative rock sound, powerful lyrics, and captivating stage presence, featuring their newest album Mirror Master. 

November 11: Westerly honors those who serve or have served with a Veterans Day Parade from Pawcatuck to Westerly Armory, where end-of-march ceremonies will commence. Hosted by the Westerly Pawcatuck Veterans Board of Control.
