Gallery Talk: “Needlework at Home: Textiles from the Harrison Sisters’ Donation”

Associate director Blaire Gagnon will present textiles and needlework accessories made, used, purchased and collected by Marion Sigourney Murless Chapin and preserved by her niece Marion Murless Billings Harrison Spicer, whose daughters donated textiles being exhibited this year. Marion Chapin, an accomplished opera singer with the Metropolitan Opera, was known for her fine needlework. Gallery talks run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and cost $5 for non-members. Members are free.
