About Explorations in Art
As part of our 140th Year Celebration, the Providence Art Club presents a special Sunday afternoon series for children (ages 5-12) and their families to explore our historic buildings, tour the galleries and engage in interactive workshops featuring the following: collage, pastel, glass, printmaking, sculpture and more. These workshops are available to both members and non-members.
About Glassworks: Designing with Color and Shapes
After a brief introduction to the Art Club, the class will explore how shapes, colors, and composition are important elements in art. Each student will design and create a piece using the exciting material of colored glass pieces. They will be fired in a kiln and picked up at a later date.
