CORE Launches "Ride for a Reason" Charity Cycle Initiative

Posted by Juliahagopian

CORE, a premium boutique fitness studio located in Providence’s Wayland Square, will hold its inaugural “Ride for a Reason” on July 26th to benefit the Lifespan Cancer Institute at Rhode Island Hospital. To date, CORE has raised more than $8,000.00 for the Institute.

Denise Chakoian, CORE’s founder and a patient at the RI Cancer Institute, will lead this benefit cycle in the brand new cycling theater, which features 30 custom-designed Stages bikes and spectacular illumination, sound, and projection, created and installed by a team who has worked with many of the leading names in popular music, including Genesis, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Sting, and the Rolling Stones.

“Ride for a Reason” will take place monthly and will benefit an array of local community organizations.
