Moses Brown Summer Camps

Moses Brown has been in the camp business for more than 50 years.  They offer day camping featuring traditional recreation, specialty and sports camps for children ages 3-17 from June 15 through August 7, 2015.  All camps are held on the Moses Brown campus in Providence, and include arts, music, drama, science, computers, design/build, invention, Maritime Studies & Sailing (out of Bristol), chess, swimming and sports.


Rocky Hill School's Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA)

Rocky Hill School’s Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) offers weeklong camps for children to learn and explore through a variety of experiences and opportunities. SEA is a safe and fun environment and offers both full and half-day programs, allowing children the opportunity to choose a number of exciting offerings. Extended day options are available both before and after camp, giving families the flexibility to work around busy schedules. SEA is open to the public.


Wickford Sailing Association

The Wickford Sailing Association (WSA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the instruction of sailing to youth ages 8-18 and adults. Programs are available for Beginners, Intermediates and Racers. Their fleet of boats consists of Optimist Prams, Club 420s and small keel boats for adult classes.  Some students also bring their own Lasers.  Scholarship Grants are available but have a May 15 application deadline.  The WSA operates out of the Wickford Yacht Club (WYC) facility located at the end of Pleasant Street in Wickford but participants do not need to be members.


Casey Farm Camps

For campers with an interest in wildlife, farming and the outdoors, Casey Farm offers programs for several age groups. Kids get the opportunity to work with farm animals, critters in Narragansett Bay and harvest their own daily snacks. The experience will give your children a sense of the day-to-day workings of an historic, local farm and a greater understanding of the natural world around them. Programs are one-week sessions, with shorter half-day sessions for little ones.

Nobody does Summer Fun like Dream Big! This high energy half or full day camp experience is for boys and girls ages four and up. The day will include time with the vault, springboards, uneven bars, high bar, balance beam, p bars, floor tumbling, tumble track and trampoline. An exciting new adventure awaits every camper each week as Dream Big provides them with a new theme. They top that all off with arts and crafts, outdoor activities, a 20' inflatable water slide experience and new zip lines.

The 2015 International Summer Engineering Academy at URI’s Kingston campus gives high school students the opportunity to explore engineering in a hands-on, engaging fashion while working with students from other countries. Options to earn college credit, reside on campus and participate in weekend activities and excursions are also available.


YMCA Camp Watchaug

Kingston's Camp

Kingston's Camp is an all-outdoor traditional day camp located on Larkin's Pond in West Kingston, RI. Boys and girls from kindergarten through sixth grade have will have a day of swim lessons, arts & crafts, camp games, canoeing, kayaking, archery, sailing, environmental education and free swim, all at a fun and rejuvenating summer pace. Their summer program runs from June 29 to August 28, Mon-Fri, 9:00am-3:00pm with extended days 7:30am- 5:30pm. They offer full week and partial week sessions to fit your schedule. Join them at their open house June 6 from 1-3pm.


Aquidneck Island Day Camp

Kid Think tackles all these questions and more by studying how children in the community think and behave. Their projects are designed like games and involve lots of one-on-one interaction with staff, so that children will find them fun and enjoyable. By seeing how children react to these games or by asking them what they think, Kid Think learns what the world looks like through a child's eyes.

Festival Ballet Providence School Summer Camps and Classes

Camps: Pre-Ballet Camp (Ages 5-7) August 17-21. Students learn the story of a classical ballet while exploring movement, music, and using arts and crafts to create props related to the ballet. Theater Arts Camp (Ages 8-12) August 17-21, Full-Day - Students explore aspects of classical ballet and theater while creating their very own ballet. Students will create choreography, sets, and costumes.

Alton Jones Summer Camps

Alton Jones Camp is American Camp Association Accredited for ages 5 to 17. Their 2,300 acres, 75 acre lake, miles of trails and a nineteenth-century farm provide a big backyard for learning, exploration, adventure and fun. They offer day, overnight and specialty camps, with activities that highlight outdoor skills and the natural environment. They have sailing, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, exploring farm life, organic gardening, nature journaling and more.
