Book club to discuss ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’

Wingate Residences on Blackstone Boulevard will hold a book club meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 3 p.m. to discuss “All Quiet on the Western Front” by Erich Maria Remarque. The book explores the German soldiers' extreme physical and mental stress during the war, and the detachment from civilian life felt by many of these soldiers upon returning home from the front.
