When spring rolls back around it brings a lot of our favorite things with it, chief among them being the Pawtucket Red Sox. April 10 will see the first pitch of the year at McCoy Stadium when the PawSox take on the Syracuse Chiefs in the first of 70 home games. Though Rhode Island may be more evenly split on the Red Sox/Yankees debate (we’re looking at you, Johnston Yankees fans) than our neighboring commonwealth to the north there’s no denying who our state’s real team is. Boston can have Red Sox Nation. Down here, this is PawSox Country.
