Art League Rhode Island (“ALRI”) presents its 18th Annual Elected Members Art Exhibition beginning Friday, October 20, 2017 with an Opening Reception from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at Bristol Art Museum, Bristol, RI. The exhibit, which represents exceptional, original works in all types of art media from 130 Elected Artists, runs through November 19, 2017 at.
Founded in 2000 by Nancy Gaucher-Thomas, who invited 40 other known artists to join her as founding members, ALRI is now composed of emerging and nationally recognized artists and supporters working in all visual mediums and a broad collection of contemporary and traditional art forms. Together with many community partners, ALRI offers opportunities for the development and growth of artists. Providing powerful exhibitions and programs, month after month, ALRI brings art to the public, engages the community, and delivers life-enriching experiences. ALRI has partnered with local art museums, RISD, Rhode Island College, The VETS Foundation, Providence Art Club, New England Foundation for the Arts, and many other artistic, educational, and philanthropic organizations.
