Led by instructor Jerry Shippee, this class is centered around the "commercial arts" focusing on art forms that are vocational. Students will be exposed to vocational arts including magazine illustration, comic strips and books, video game character design, basic animator, and tee shirt design. Students will be shown techniques in drawing, pen and ink, watercolor, and mixed media arts in an open curriculum where they can pick the area in which they would like to focus.
