One Providence New Year’s Eve Ball
The Rhode Island Convention Center will host the first annual One Providence New Year’s Eve Ball, featuring live music, dancing, food and drink, plus over $10,000 in giveaways. Dress to impress and ring in 2016 with Mayor Elorza. 9pm-3am. $50/$75 VIP. More info… 

Providence Downtown Marriott's Diamonds & Ice NYE Celebration
The best NYE plans are the ones where you don't have to worry about driving home late at night after a that midnight champagne. That's where dowtown PVD's Marriott comes in. Their Diamonds & Ice New Year's Eve bash gets you a three-course dinner, and admission to a cocktail reception and party in the grand ballroom. The best part? After you've danced the night away you can crash right there in the hotel. Add in entertainment from mentalist Christopher Grace and DJ Kenny and Siagel Productions and this just might be the mini vacation you were loking for. $313.50 for one guest, $429 for two. More info...

Caffe Dolce Vita Dinner for Two
Celebrate on Federal Hill with a romantic night out at Caffe Dolce Vita for their New Year’s Eve Dinner for Two. The prix fixe, three course dinner includes a bottle of wine or a pitcher of beer or sangria. 12pm-12am. $40.95. More info… 

New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Charlestown Rathskeller
Pick up that phone and get your reservation in yesterday. The Rathskeller is taking special, two-hour only reservations, but the party isn’t over after your time at a table is up. Hang out and rub elbows in the tavern until the ball drops at midnight. 4pm-1am. More info…

Irish New Year’s Eve at McBride’s Pub
Celebrate at midnight, Ireland time, at McBride’s. Raise a glass at 7pm local time with your fellow Irishmen across the pond and dance to live music from Brian Twohey starting at 4pm. More info… 

Legion Bowl/Park on Pub
The Complaints headline an evening of celebration at Legion Bowl/Park on Pub. Dig into the buffet from 7-9pm, clink champagne flutes at midnight and start 2016 right. 7pm-1am. $40. More info…

Rogue Island's Second Anniversary/NYE Party
Rogue Island takes care of two birds with one stone at their second anniversary and New Year’s Eve bash. Apps showcasing local farms will be on hand for some locavore munchies, local beers will he flowing from the taps. Celebrate Rhode Island, and the beginning of 2016, in true Rhody style. 7pm-1am. $30. More info… 

Jim Norton at the Comedy Connection
Self-deprecation and self loathing are a recipe for disaster on New Year’s Eve… unless it's coming from comedian Jim Norton. Catch the author, stand up and actor in one of two shows. Bonus! A champagne toast is included with admission. 8:30 and 10pm. $50. More info… 

BoOgie Nights at Ogie’s Trailer Park
Send 2015 off in retro style at Ogie’s. Djs Ty Jesso and John O’Leary will be providing the tunes while you load up on delicious tots and bask in the mid-century kitsch goodness. Go-Go dancers, a champagne toast at midnight and some yet-to-be revealed surprises round out the festivities. 9pm-3am. $10 in advance, $20 night of. More info… 

2nd Annual NYE Party, Courthouse Center for the Arts
For the second year now, the Courthouse Center for the Arts is ringing in the new year. This year, catch rock and blues band Neal & The Vipers, singer-songwriter Grant Maloy Smith, “Hey Nineteen” bandleader Dale DeJoy and local musician Matt Wunsch, plus all of the NYE staples – apps, drinks and a champagne toast at midnight. 8pm-1am. $45. Providence Children’s Museum
Kids don’t typically have the stamina to make it to midnight to see the ball drop but that doesn’t mean they should be left out of the party. The Providence Children’s Museum invites kids and parents to come by and make noisemakers and musical instruments for a preemptive celebration for 2016 earlier in the day. 12pm and 2pm. More info… 

Chair 5 at the Break
Do NYE South County style with a special four course New Year’s Eve dinner at Chair 5, then make your way up to the lounge on the fourth floor for the Rooftop Gala, featuring live jazz, passed canapes and a glass of champagne for midnight. Dinner; 5-10pm, $60. Gala; 9pm-12:30am, $25 with dinner, $35 without. More info…

Blaze Kitchen
The new Blaze Kitchen is a great place to start the new year. Indulge throughout the evening with a la carte starters like filet mignon crostini lobster bisque, or entrees like cherry glazed duck, steak and eggs and adult s’mores. Food will be served during regular dinner hours with dancing to music provided by DJ Kyle starting at 10pm. More info… 

Brix Restaurant
With a special prix fixe menu, the culinary team at Brix is sure to be serving up a delicious send-off to 2015. As the night goes on, expect great entertainment to accompany the great food as Kim Trusty and Travis Colby take the stage. Dinner reservations will be taken for two different times during the evening. 5-7:30pm, $65; 9:15-10:30pm, $90 (included live music, party favors and champagne toast). More info…
