8th Annual Woony River Ride

Posted by eliaseberman

Get on your bike and explore the Woonasquatucket River. Routes offer plenty of beautiful views as you venture from Providence throughout the Woonasquatucket Watershed.

Last year’s Woony Ride was a success! Thanks to all who took part — you have helped us support our youth programs, including Red Shed, environmental restoration, bike path maintenance, and future extensions to the Woonasquatucket River Bike Path. This year we hope to make our bike-a-thon the best ever.

2017 marks our 8th Annual bike-a-thon fundraiser for the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council! Ride 60, 45, 30, 10 or 5 miles with full support from our brilliant and steadfast team of volunteers.

Our Rides Include:

8:00 am - 60-mile ride

9:00 am - 45-mile ride

10:30 am - 30-mile ride

11:00 am - 10-mile ride

11:30 am - 5-mile ride or walk

There might be a few changes to our route but here is our plan!

The Woony Ride brings out families and avid cyclists from the all over the region to enjoy the beauty of the Woonasquatucket River. It’s a fully supported ride, and it ends with an AFTER-PARTY at Waterplace Park in Downtown Providence - live music, food, and awesome prizes for fundraisers!

We hope to see you geared up and ready to ride on September 16th to help us continue to make changes to our great community.
